Hello Everyone! My name is Kristian Torres. Born in the mid 90’s, I’m originally from Newark NJ now living in Portland Oregon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you come up with your name?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I came up with the name “Kreatorres” back around 2017 when trying to come up with a display name for my Instagram. My name starts with a Kr, similar to Cr in “Create” which is what I love to do. I soon noticed that the word “Creator” has the same last 3 letters as the FIRST 3 letters of my last name! (“Tor” for Torres) So it was a no-brainer when deciding a life long name for myself. Kristian Torres, KreaTor.res Kreator for short. KRTR.RES for even shorter. BAM! Get it? \ud83d\ude0b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Past to Present<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My art style influence comes from where my life began, the happenings that took course throughout my childhood, and ultimately my outlook on life because of these events. Don’t get me wrong; I had a pretty great childhood FULL of love (although stern) from my Parents and Older Brother, but there were times of disbelief, tragedy and sadness. From being raised in a HAUNTED (now abandoned) apartment building, to a very unexpected divorce around 2010, to 8 years later my Mother tragically Passing after a sudden Heart-Attack, it seemed like Heart Ache was always lingering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite all of this, the nearest tragedy being in 2018, my outlook on life has always been Optimistic and Playful. I’m stronger than any barricade that may stand in my way NO MATTER WHAT!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Style, Influences and Desires <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My life experiences definitely have an influence on my art style. I really enjoy creating fun, cartoon style characters with a hand drawn, chaotic twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art inspiration for me would have to be John Kricfalusi (Artist for Ren & Stimpy), Art Speigleman (Creator of Garbage Pail Kids) and Ed Roth. (Creator of Rat Fink) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My main Areas of focus when it comes to art are Traditional Drawings<\/strong>, Concept Sketching<\/strong>, Pixel-Art<\/strong>, 3D Sculpting<\/strong>, and lastly, Music Production<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
