Summarization of my Pixel Art Journey

Reflecting back, Microsoft Paint was one of the first computer programs I was able to use to create Pixel Art. I’m sure we’ve all been there! In my case, this format of art stylization really stuck with me. Now as an adult with my own Computer, I had to see what was possible. Starting off with MP, I realized it was a bit too simple and that I wanted to really make my pieces come to life! With a bit of research, I came across Piskel which is actually a very user friendly website for frame by frame pixel animation. This worked fine for a while, but I did come across a few limitations. Continuing with my research, I noticed a lot of pixel artists using a specific program for their projects; ASEPRITE! This program right here ended up being the all-in-one solution I needed. Since purchasing the program, my work flow is smoother thanks to their shortcut keys and I can confidently work on larger projects.
